On-site working conditions: The tested device is a refined evaporator, which evaporates the water content in the medium to obtain ethanol with higher purity, multi-layer stirring, and 5-6cm foam.

Measurement process

This is an improvement of the measurement scheme. Because the installation port of the reactor is limited and the installation port is inclined and non-vertical, the radar level gauge needs to be installed vertically on the top to achieve the best measurement results. At the initial installation, although it was installed diagonally, the 80G FM radar level gauge has a relatively small launch angle, and the signal is not affected by the stirring blade. After debugging, the level can be measured.

The following is the measurement effect of the radar liquid level installed vertically, the signal is stronger. Since the measurement for several months, the signal is stable and the measurement is accurate.

Measurement results and analysis

After on-site testing, the 80Ghz frequency modulated radar level transmitter DCRD1000B4 was successfully applied to the level measurement of the ethanol solution in the evaporator, which overcomes the influence of steam, foam and stirring on the measurement, and achieves a satisfactory measurement effect for users。
